Murray is the National Product Manager for Business Transformation services. He is an industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience; he was designated Fellow Certified Management Consultant (FCMC) for outstanding service to the profession. Murray was the founding chair of the Eastern Ontario chapter of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Performance and Planning eXchange (PPX), a non-profit organization that promotes best practices in Results-Based Management.  He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science.

Strategic planning, value management, performance measurement, business transformation, change management and outcomes planning are among Murray's specialties. He has a unique ability to maximize business value and results for clients while mitigating risk and ensuring that optimal governance structures are in place. Murray has worked with several large federal government departments and agencies on regulation and program delivery. He has also worked with the municipal governments of two major Canadian cities and with an aircraft manufacturing company, and with the operator of Canada's largest communications network.

Murray recently led the creation of three Government of Canada methods, tools and guides, in the areas of, Outcome Management, Business Cases and the new Treasury Board Secretariat policy on the management of projects.
